SKU: EL843

Chestnut tree’s blossom honey is rich ( perhaps the richest of all) in trace elements such as Potassium, Magnesium, Manganese and Barium, but in fructose and tannins as well, due to the chestnut tree. This honey contains a large number of pollen grains which give it a very strong taste. This is one of its main advantages because the strong presence of the pollen increases its nutritional value. It causes perspiration, it helps blood circulation and it is also a very good “tonic”…

In addition, it has got styptic, disinfect and healing properties especially useful in the urinary and digestive system, providing antimicrobial action to the intestine. It is recommended to everyone who exercises, elders and people who have problems with prostate or prostatitis. It may also act as a styptic in cases of dysentery.

Chestnut tree’s blossom honey, combined with particular essential oils, propolis and pollen give “propolis honey” (Arohoney, Aromiel, Amelia) which are products of high nutritional value in a large variety of diseases.

It crystallizes for a long time. 1.5 - 2 years.

It is a honey of mixed origin, of chestnut trees, blossom nectar and honey secretions. However, scientifically, it is placed in the category of “ blossom honey” because of its physicochemical characteristics ( its sugars are counterclockwise). When the beekeepers want to strengthen the bee swarms, they take them to the chestnut tree. Bees adore the chestnut tree’s blossom, they are stimulated and soon they become aggressive around their beehive. They collect “ nectar” every day until late, even after the sunset.

Unfortunately, in our country, the chestnut tree’s blossom honey is not well – known. But it is well – known and in great demand for its beneficial properties in the markets of central Europe and Russia.

Suggestions:

· Try to put a few drops of chestnut tree’s blossom honey on mature and aged cheese. You will be amazed by the taste created.

· Put it into drinks such as “Faskomilo” or “Faskomilo with “Mountain tea”. You will ascertain the harmony given by this          “ bitter” flavour of “Faskomilo” and “Chestnut tree’s blossom honey”.
