Watermelon Marmelade with saffron

Exceptionally fresh and fragrant, our watermelon marmalade is made from the ripest fruits that grow in abundance in the fertile sea side prairies of Messinia.
Prepared with care and in small batches, according to an authentic recipe in a local workshop, the pulp from the juiciest watermelons is boiled in low temperature without any preservatives or artificial flavorings. A sprinkle of fragrant saffron adds zest and aroma.
This wonderfully fragrant watermelon marmalade is delicious on warm bread or toast at breakfast but also makes a delectable snack anytime, especially as a topping on cake, ice cream or rich Greek yogurt.
